Flytbase, has been awarded the Best Startup of the Year 2017 title at Tiecon. TieCon has always been a must-attend event for entrepreneurs and startup founders. It focuses on hottest areas of innovation including machine learning, fin-tech, autonomous vehicles, UAVs and much more. Every year, a number of startups partake and demonstrate their work at Tiecon and we are pleased to have come out as the best one.
Flytbase was recognized for bringing definitive changes in the Drone Industry.
We showcased the capabilities of our platform and Drone APIs by demonstrating an AI Deep Learning Demo where the drone was able to identify 20 different objects.

We also performed a live demo of our FlytSelfie App. The web app was hosted on the Flytbase cloud. As the name suggests, it allowed people to take selfies and tweet the pictures they like from the drone itself. Here are some of the key mentions from the event:

The event was contested with some of the best startups in Pune. We are grateful to the Tiecon team for bestowing us with the Best Startup Title.
The event had a great entrepreneurial vibe and showcased how far the startup culture has grown in and around Pune. The event was grazed with keynote speeches by famous celebrities and personalities. These include Nana Patekar and Dr. Velumani from Thyrocare.
Tiecon was a wonderful and inspiring experience. We are glad to be appreciated for the work we are doing and this title only encourages us to work even harder and to continue the good work.
